Thanks for bleeding
We have all been bitten by a bug or two at one point or
another in our lives, and most of us had the marks to prove
it. As Iowans, we are subjected to the bites of mosquitoes,
flies and even spiders. But if there's one place where we
should feel safe from exposure to these insects, it should
be our beds. Beneath our sheets, though, these critters
are causing quite a stir, especially here in the metro.
What were first considered a major nuisance have become
a serious threat to some and strange, yet welcomed, bedfellows
to others.
Rumors have been circulating about the severity of
bed bugs in various residential and commercial buildings
for several months, but not until now have the horrific
details surrounding those involved been uncovered.
We are uncomfortably pleased to bring you the details
in our cover story this first week of April.
As always, thanks for bleeding… I mean reading.
